Würzteufel, Apple Pectin, 250g

Pectin is a natural, completely soluble, purely vegetable and vegan polysaccharide, which is obtained from pectin-rich fruits such as oranges or apples and is mainly used as a natural gelling agent. Pectin belongs to the group of indigestible carbohydrates, so it is practically calorie-free & is often used in light products & low-calorie ice creams.

Pectin forms thermoreversible gels which become liquefied during heating and solidify again during subsequent cooling. Due to its long-chain structure of polysaccharides, pectin promotes the feeling of saturation and significantly stimulates intestinal activity.

Mix with sugar for a light and lump-free distribution. Directional dosage: jam & jam: 6-12 g/kg Soft jelly/pie fillings: 15-20 g/kg Cut-resistant jelly/pie casting: 30-40 g/kg
