What does 'BIO' stand for?

The bioplastic of “biobrush” is made from the remains of the woodworking industry.

More than 50 million toothbrushes end up in landfills every year. That is a huge pile of unnecessary environmental pollution. BioBrush is almost 100% compostable. Besides, they look too crazy. This is the only brush where the bristles are the same color as the handle (worldwide patent).

And all this is no more expensive than any other good quality brush.

Composition

Only a few fossil raw materials have been processed in this biotoothbrush and its packaging. Cellulose from residues from the wood processing industry is used for the bioplastic and packaging film. Natural plasticizers are used in the bioplastic (citric acid). The brushes are BPA free.

The pigments that provide the fresh colors do not contain heavy metals. Castor oil forms the basis for the nylon bristles. Nylon is unfortunately not biodegradable, but according to independent dentists it is still the best hygienic material for toothbrushes. The bristles are medium soft. Because the toothbrush contains almost no fossil raw materials, it burns almost CO2 neutrally at the end of its life. The toothbrush's bioplastic is biodegradable (DIN EN ISO 14855) and the packaging is even compostable. The toothbrush is made in Germany.

The easiest and most beneficial effect is when you make circular movements and brush from the gums towards the tooth.

It is sometimes thought that scrubbing the teeth hard is the best way to care for the teeth. Nothing could be further from the truth! Brushing too hard will damage your gums and enamel. And it is the enamel that protects your teeth against cavities. Once worn away, tooth enamel does not return.
