Buckwheat is considered "pseudo-cereal" as it is essentially a seed.

It is very popular in Asian countries where it is a key ingredient in the preparation of noodles.

Buckwheat contains a lot of protein in relation to the low amount of cereals, most of the B-complex vitamins, vitamins E and K, folic acid and is rich in minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium and zinc.

Boil 1 cup of buckwheat in 2 cups of water. Ideal for soups, sauces and cooked meals.

Store in a cool and dry place.
