Biovegan, Spelt Sourdough Extract, 30g

Organic Spelt Sour Dough Extract sufficient for 2 loaves with the typical acidity of sourdough and the slightly nutty aroma of spelt. Just add the remaining ingredients - and done! Enjoy your freshly baked bread for breakfast or as a snack. Spelt Sourdough Bread

You add (for 2 loaves):
700 g spelt flour, 300 g rye flour, 2 sachets BioVegan Meister baker's yeast (14 g), 2 tsp salt, 750 ml lukewarm water, some fat for the baking tin.

Preparation:
Mix all dry ingredients well. Add 750 ml water and knead for 5 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 60 minutes. Then knead the dough again and let it rest covered in 2 greased moulds for 30 minutes.

Bake the loaves with a bowl of water at 200°C for about 60 minutes. Then turn out the loaves and leave to cool on a wire rack.

Note:
You cannot make a basic batch with the spelt sourdough extract.
The sourdough alone has no leavening power.
For 1 kg of flour, 2 sachets of BioVegan Meister baker's yeast (14 g) are needed.
