Description

Organic Agave Sugar has the same benefits as agave syrup. It is approximately (40%) sweeter than regular sugar, has a low glycemic index, and dissolves easily. It has a low glycemic index and is rich in minerals.

Agave sugar is made by spray drying agave syrup with maltodextrin as a vehicle for drying. After it is dried, the sugar is passed through a granulation machine that injects air into the sugar and inflates it as a granulate. In industrial recipes, agave powder is used in the production of hard-textured candies, hard-textured baked goods, and anything else that specifically requires a powdered sweetener.
