MOYA TRADITIONAL MATCHA

Moya Matcha Traditional has an intense green color, a well-balanced bitter-sweet taste and a delicate tea aftertaste. It is obtained from only the first and second harvest of fresh shrub leaves, which ripen under special sun protection. Thanks to this treatment, the leaves obtain a higher chlorophyll content l-theanine and acquire an intense green color. Immediately after harvesting, the leaves are gently steamed, dried and ground into a fine powder after separating the leaves from the stems.

MATCHAWAN

Matchawan is a traditional tool used in the Japanese tea ceremony. It is also definitely the most convenient vessel for drinking matcha , which is best beaten with a bamboo whisk (so-called chasen). The vertical walls of the bowl and the wide bottom allow you to easily and conveniently "whisk" the matcha in water and quickly obtain a layer of foam on the surface. Please remember that the temperature of the water in which matcha is prepared should not exceed 80 degrees Celsius.

Capacity: 400 ml

The vessel is dishwasher safe.

CHASEN BAMBOO MATCHA WHISTLE

A traditional Japanese whisk for frothing matcha tea. The whisk is made of one piece of bamboo, where precise cuts and appropriate tying with cotton thread create delicate tendrils which, when properly shaped, create jasper foam when whipping the matcha. Using the chasen, we make movements resembling the letter W or M in the bowl. This allows the matcha to combine well with water, creating a suspension, and a skin of foam should appear on the surface of the tea. Perfect tea frothing is possible thanks to the flexible bamboo bristles of the chasen whisk. These bristles are slightly curved in their lower part, and gathered together at the top and ending with a special wooden handle.

CHASEN STAND

The chasen stand is not only a beautiful element of the traditional Japanese matcha tea ceremony set. This is a practical tool that helps keep the chasen's delicate whiskers in perfect shape, ensuring its longevity. The stand is made of black, shiny porcelain.

CHASHAKU SPOON

Chashaku is a spoon used to apply matcha. It is originally made of bamboo wood. Used in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony to scoop powdered tea. It allows us to precisely take the necessary amount of matcha. Matcha tea is prepared differently than other types of tea, and using a teaspoon of chashak brings us closer to the traditional ceremony.
