From our distillation of Somalian Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) essential oil Therapeutic properties associated with frankincense hydrolat: expectorant, nervine, cicatrisant, calmative, antiseptoc.

Production Method: Organic frankincense hydrolat is obtained by indirect steam distillation of bowsellia carterii resin.

Appearance: Clear, colorless, odor bright, fresh, sweet, characteristic aroma.

Frankincense hydrolat is said to have a fantastic affinity with the skin. We enjoy misting it over our faces in summer.

Believed to be useful in antiwrinkle treatments, it is often combined with cistus hydrolat or incorporated into the face masks.

It is also used as a ‘gargle’ in mouth and / or gum infections. For this we would recommend combining with our helichrysum hydrolat.

Spray or diffuse in an ultrasonic vapouriser before meditation.

Keep in tightly closed container in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight. When stored for more than 24 months, quality should be checked before use.
