Shea oil is a part of Africa in European cuisine. This "gold of African women" is not only traditionally used in cosmetics (skin and hair care) and medicine, but is also present in the diet.

Shea oil spreads easily, has a neutral taste and smell, and is highly resistant to high temperatures, making it suitable for baking and frying.

Due to these properties, the inhabitants of the regions where it is produced traditionally use it as a fat for frying and baking.

A special advantage of shea oil is that it gives baked goods a wonderfully crispy, golden crust.

Furthermore, it replaces regular animal butter and can be used as a vegan spread.

NOTE :

Shea oil becomes solid at temperatures up to 28 degrees Celsius. To change the consistency to a liquid, place the product in a water bath.

In the case of BIO PLANTE shea oil, fragrances and flavors are removed using steam (deodorization). This form of physical refining means abandoning aggressive, environmentally harmful substances. The oil should be replaced after 10 uses.
