Terrasana, Essene Sprouted Spelt Bread Natural, 400g

This organic, traditional bread, which is also known as Essene bread, contains only spelt and water – no yeast, leavening or other ingredients. Sprouted grain bread is made by leaving spelt grains to sprout for 2–3 days before baking them at a low temperature (110–130°C). This ensures maximum retention of nutrients and fibre.

Makes yummy toast. Try putting a few slices of avocado with hemp seeds on your slice of fresh sprouted grain bread, or mugi miso with cashew butter. Or for a sweet version, spread a mixture of peanut butter and maple syrup on a slice of sprouted grain toast.

Once opened, it will keep for 3 days in the fridge.
