Basmati rice is a popular rice in India and Pakistan. This is easy to cook, taking about 20-25 minutes until ready. White Basmati has a mild, pleasant fragrance once cooked and is softer than the brown version. Or Course it is the ideal accompaniment to a curry both Indian and Thai. Although it has less fibre it still has some protein and is plainer alternative to whole grain rice. If your recipe requires a soft, fluffy white rice without a strong flavour then this will be perfect.

Master recipe as a side dish for 2 people: Boil 125 g Himalayan Basmati rice in 250 ml lightly salted water and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Store in a dry and cool place.
